About Me

I opened “The Studio of Stacy Bell” in July 2SB028-2009 after moving to Sterling Virginia with my husband. I offer beginning piano lessons as well as all levels of vocal instruction.

Prior to moving to Northern Virginia in June of 2009, I attended Northland International University in Dunbar, Wisconsin. In May of ’09 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music: Vocal Pedagogy, which included courses in basic musical considerations such as theory, ear training, music history, and a proficiency in piano. In addition to these general music components, my focus was on all things voice: anatomy, literature, diction, teaching techniques, basic choral direction, and performance. Along with successfully completing two solo recitals, I performed for two years with an auditioned small ensemble, one year with a concert choir, and toured through the southwestern states with one of the university’s ensembles.

I am thrilled to be a part of educating today’s young musicians through my private studio! My desire is to equip beginners with the ability to read music through the knowledge of basic piano as well as to help singers improve their vocal freedom, versatility, coordination, and musicality while understanding the importance of healthfulness above simply sounding “good”.
